Privacy Policy

The Gramm-Leach Bliley Act and the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) restrict the disclosure of personal financial information by our firm and those in our employ. Because we produce a “financial product or service” the government is requesting that we supply you, our client, with a notice of our privacy policy.

It has always been our policy to keep all information that we collect from you confidential. We do collect nonpublic personal information about you, the client, from the following sources:

  • information we receive from you on tax preparation organizers, worksheets, Federal and State tax reporting forms and from other documents. We use this information to facilitate tax preparation and related services.
  • information we may receive from outside agencies such as banks, brokerage houses, charitable organizations etc.

Lindenbusch Accounting and Tax Service, Inc. has never and will never sell or give away our clients tax returns, information, working papers, client list, or addresses, without consent from our client. We shred sensitive information, we lock our offices, and your income tax returns are as safe as current technology will allow. The hardcopy data and physical office is protected by the second and fourth amendments to the constitution and our ability and willingness to exercise those rights.
